Harry Redknapp
|
Source The Bare Naked Ugly Truth:
Did you know that national treasure and King of the jungle, Harry Redknapp, the man who once gave his pet dog a Monaco bank account just for the hell of it, and according to a jury not to avoid tax ! Has been coining it in since winning the ITV show. Such as trying to persuade you to gamble your hard earned money away while calling out for Sandra for help with the bins in advertising for a gaming company! So cute..
Now Harry and the lovely Sandra plan to spend all that new money from advertising for a gambling site to demolish a former hotel that is now used since 1988 as a much needed emergency accommodation hostel, so it can be replaced with “posh” apartments.
In conveniently for Harry and Sandra this will result in over 30 people being made homeless, including several with disabilities, cancer sufferers, and domestic violence victims and other vulnerable individuals.
Good old Harry and the lovely Sandra have asked through his legal firm that now planning permission has been granted, that the emergency accommodation property be closed and ready for the upgrade as soon as possible.
Good old Harry and Sandra, keep flying the flag for working class people done good. I wonder if his dog will be the main shareholder?

On the other hand another former West Ham manager Lou Macari spends his time raising money to help the homeless in Stoke find shelter. 'The Macari Centre'.
Perhaps Redknapp can buy him out and kick his clients out onto the street too. Good old 'arry!

I know what you mean
I did have high hopes for Eddie Howe but I think he is too much of a Dorset homeboy

It was tongue in cheek.
However, if given the option at the moment, I'd have to have a real scratch of the beard.

'Arry's a real character, akin to Arfur Daley or Del Boy. He should have his own statue outside London Stadium!

It'll be left to his kids and grand-kids for their nest egg. I would do the same.

He's been in property development for years. Charley.
I think if you grow up poor, as I did to a degree, you never feel you have enough money as one day you could end up with nothing again.
I'm making a decent whack at the moment and the missus complains that I'm keeping a certain amount by rather than going on exotic holidays and enjoying it but at the back of my mind I think that it could all end tomorrow and I'll be broke again.
I've still taken her on two holidays this year, just more modestly priced ones. Slough is actually a lot of fun in February.

More to the point at 72 when he's worth around £15 million why does he want to get into property development? Sounds a bit greedy

Here's one story about Bungpuss and Bonzo - Bonzo calls him pathetic. I know who I go with here.

Unfortunate for the people living who will be moved on but it's the hotel owner who put it on the market. If Harry didn't buy it some other property developer would have.
Harry also does a lot of charity work, which the article fails to mention.
Harry was an utter cunt when he chose personal profit over keeping Rio, beginning the exodus of a young and brilliantly talented young squad but not in this case.
